Yamaha EX-SVD07 GM Instruments VOICE SAMPLE DISK demos
I have one of these... I think it's a great machine.... Midi on it is phenomenal I use it in conjunction with a Yamaha QY10 and a rare Korg Sq8... Yes it's bread and butter sounds... But it is a work horse and does it well ....There is that old saying a bad workman always blames his tools .. If you have the imagination you can make this a dream synth
I relly, really love this one! 👍👍👍👍👍 Epic.
Thank you! Cheers!
Damn. You can really feel something here. The true passion. The true talent it takes to understand this instrument in the rock & roll prog rock underworld. I would but a minimoog if I wasn’t paying tuition..
I finally bought a Roland JD Xi hopefully, i might also get a DK 80 as well
oh its a strange day
Great video. Thanks for spending so much time to go through all the features. Something many UA-camrs don't really dwell on. Now let's have a video for (B) Abacus and (B) Victor .... Subbed!
Glad it was helpful!
Been using one of these for getting on for 30 years now (!) I typically set it around 9 o'clock for both Process and Lo Contour since you can over do it (you can end up with a brittle paper-like sound otherwise). It really is superb for adding 3D clarity to a mix. It is almost like taking a towel off your speakers. It is also good for lifting a single track (or stem) if that tends to get buried in the mix. I am always suprised it is a contentious device amongst some audio engineers, but I put this down to pure interia.
remember this guy knows what hes doing. even with all the tones you cant make this classic music
amazing. It sounds like old soviet music
goes to show no matter how funky or even ridiculous your tone is. it wont matter if you know how to play lol
Don't know if you respond to comments in older videos, but I have a question nonetheless. I know it was common back in the day to layer acoustic piano patches with FM and/or PCM synth patches. However, do you know of examples where FM and/or PCM layers were combined with Fender Rhodes or Wurlitzer EP samples?
Yes, Chick Corea I think is one example during the Elektric Band period, he layered Rhodes with FM layers
;-)))) tempo 120 but 140 it's speed but interesting to try ...
Women play or Man ? Women = long Finghers
Hoover Time!!! To me Hoovers, Stabs and Acid in Dance is what Guitars, Bass and Drums is in Rock......A Timeless perfect combination!!!
Great video dude i like. please make more videos showing those cd of spectrasonic
Thanks! Will do!
The synth was a flanger on top of a Doppler. WTF?
This just sounds like bad midi
Getting a wonderful Johnny Cash Vibe. Bravo! 👏
Wonderful song. Love the voice! Its full of truth and feeling!
Nice one classic!
Have you seen those new Warm Audio copies of the d19 mics? Demos seem promising.
Great job Paolo i really enjoyed it
grazieeee ... sono italiano! mi hai rivelato come nascevano lehits della mia infanzia
Grazie a te, Raffaele!
Paolo pls do more modular like this one
You sure this ain’t the Sonic Projects Opx Pro? I worked with an OBXa before getting my JP8 in the 80’s, this sounds muddy .. like the OB plugins 🤔 Nice Jan Hammer style solo chops btw 👍
I'm quite sure it's an OB-Xa
Sorry but 2 Bad Mice was in the wrong octave?
This was also used in The Judy Show (1999) on Hanna Barbera.
Tom Kane is the narrator to the TV series.
I like Janet Waldo, Dick Beals, Grey DeLisle, Dan Gilvezan, Tress MacNeille, Frank Welker, Betty Jean Ward, Benjamin Caya, Jodi Benson, Eliza Jane Schneider, Corey Burton, Cody Dorkin, Tara Strong, Debi Derryberry, Megan Mullally, Jennifer Hale, Cam Clarke, John Michael Higgins, Edie McClurg, Jeff Bennett, Mary Kay Bergman, Doug Preis, Brian Cummings, Jess Harnell, Stephen Stanton, Patricia Parris, Maureen McCormick, James Arnold Taylor, Greg Burson, Bill Farmer, Jeff Bergman, Pat Carroll, John Rhys-Davies, Kevin Schon and Jack Sheldon versions.
Who else could hear Neil Tennent during the play through?
Hi paolo! can you recreate the m1 piano part from madonna vogue please?
Great video, as usual. What is the patch on the j60?
Thank you, Berny , the patch is just the simple waveform low mode + onboard chorus, if you enlarge the screen you can set the sliders the same way and it should sound the same
This is the kind of sound design I miss. Nowadays, people just pull up prepackaged sounds and play away with endless polyphony. A lot of the keyboard stuff I heard growing up that I enjoy to this day was done specifically due to the limitations of hardware (limited polyphony counts, physical connections via MIDI or proprietary software, outboard effects, the bit rate of the hardware, rackmount space, power consumption, etc.). It's like we have the advantages to create more amazing sounds but lack the imagination due to the ease of accessibility.
Oh God, does that bring that great memories! I used one bàck in the 80`s. We were doing Rush,Moody Blues, etc.The strings on that baby are great, brass also!
Sos band is a bell or cowbell
Note that you can program a rest step (no note) in the SH-101 sequencer with the rest button.
6:43 that one Kirby synth
Hello, how to make the second sound (low string) on the Poly 800 please ? Thanks
Its looks easy but...
11 years ago I watched this. It just came back to the home page. Nice listening to this. Reminds me of my late teenage days in college.
Feels like I'm on a mystic cloud, slowly traveling through mysterious skies back to the '80s. Thank you for this! 💙🤍🖤
Great video! Did you ever manage to make a dump of the factory patterns? Either sysex or .wav?
excuse me sir sorry to disturb does it work also with tr 606 and sh101??
Hey this is the best sounding demonstration of these two around! Not annoying playing and shows character and style
Did you sell all of your gear? Why are you using VST’s?
Bloody Brilliant
Is this where the rapper got his name dmx from?
No, according to Wikipedia, for the DMX rapper it means "Divine Master Of the Unknown". Davy DMX, on the other hand, did.
Why does it start at patch 11 and not patch 1?
Electronic disco
The Atlantis patch is stunning, what synth are you using to create that? It's beautiful
Just saw the top of the video, Roland Jupiter-80, answered my own question, thanks!
Roland Jupiter-80 (also says in the opening title)
🎧 💯✔️🔊🔝 🤜🏻🤛🏻
Thank you Paolo
Thank you for watching
